Mayor Galán explained, “This strategy reaffirms our commitment as residents of Bogotá to strengthen international relations and cooperation, as well as to forge ties with other cities, countries, and sectors that can benefit Bogotá.”

He added, “This is the first time Bogotá has included a comprehensive and realistic internationalization program in its Development Plan. This initiative recognizes Bogotá’s relevance on the global stage and its capacity to engage in cooperation, either to benefit from it or to support other cities and regions around the world.”
