‘Bogotá, My City, My Home’ continues to strengthen its presence on the international stage! The Colombian capital has been recognized as the sixth-best city in Latin America in the Brand Finance Global City Index 2024, the most comprehensive ranking of city brand perception worldwide. Additionally, Bogotá is the only Colombian city on the list, ranking 87th globally.

The study gathered opinions from over 15,000 respondents in 20 countries, assessing critical factors such as quality of life, competitiveness, accessibility, cultural diversity, governance, education, and hospitality towards both residents and tourists. These indicators have allowed Bogotá to secure a spot in a ranking that highlights its strength and potential in the global market.
"Bogotá's inclusion in this global ranking proves that our efforts in promoting and strengthening the city's brand—especially through #BogotáTuCasa—are paying off. This recognition motivates us to continue improving and positioning Bogotá as a regional leader in gastronomy, business, and culture," said Andrés Santamaría, Director of the Bogotá Tourism Institute (IDT).

This recognition adds to Bogotá's recent Travelers' Choice Awards Best of the Best 2025 award, where it ranked 15th among the world’s top trending destinations. In 2024 alone, the city welcomed over 13.4 million visitors, solidifying its status as a major hub for tourism and business in the region.
