TransMilenio received the SAG Award (Special Achievement in GIS), an award that Esri Colombia awarded for its work in Geographic Information Systems.
Specifically, the award is a recognition of the entity's achievements for integrating the following information within the TransMilenio Spatial Nature System:
- Data information in the field through forms
- Geoprocesses that serve as a basis for decision making
- Dashboards that enable data visualization and analysis
- Interoperability of information through geographic web services under the standards defined by OGC (Open GIS Consortium)
- Structuring and consolidation of data within the TransMilenio corporate geographic database.
