Bogotá, My City, My Home’ lit up Times Square, bringing the spirit of Bogotá to one of the world’s most iconic stages. The campaign launched with a week of projections visible on Times Square’s screens until November 11, 2024, aiming to position Bogotá as a vibrant, welcoming destination for international tourists, blending culture, entertainment, nature, and unrivaled hospitality.

The activation featured colorful performances for Colombian community members and tourists, introducing the best of Bogotá  through umbrellas, vibrant displays, and imagery of a world-class city.

Bogotá, Your Home is a global positioning campaign to attract more tourists and investment and boost the city’s image. Here in Times Square, a place seen by millions daily, we’re showcasing Bogotá’s diverse offerings,” said Andrés Santamaría, director of the Bogotá Tourism Institute (IDT).

‘Bogotá, Your Home Bogotá, tu casa’: A Global Positioning Strategy

Inspired by cities like New York and London, the campaign ‘Bogotá, Your Home Bogotá, tu casa’ highlights Bogotá’s unique attributes: a celebrated dining scene with over 15,000 restaurants; an expansive bike path network, crowning it the world’s cycling capital; and rich biodiversity, from birdwatching to outdoor adventures that make it one of Colombia’s most diverse travel spots.

The campaign strengthens the sense of belonging among locals and visitors, transforming them into ambassadors for a first-rate, sustainable, and innovative global tourism destination.
