Ranking best humano capital cities

Juan Gabriel Perez, executive director of Invest in Bogotá Promotion Agency said to Portal Bogota that one of the main reasons why the Colombian capital is part of this list is because it has 2 of the 10 best universities in Latin America according to the QS World University Rankings®, with the Universidad de los Andes in the sixth position and the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in the tenth position.

Perez also explained the reasons why Bogota was recognized as seventh in terms of human capital and lifestyle,“Human talent is one of the main attributes that have positioned Bogotá as the most important investment destination in Latin America. In today's world scenario, having a young and well-prepared workforce allows us to be on par with large international cities. In terms of quality of life, according to the Mercer 2020 survey that measures the cost of living in the world's main cities, Bogota is positioned as one of the least expensive metropolises to live in, surpassing other cities in the region such as Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Quito and Mexico City”.
