Bogota shines at the latest edition of FITUR 2024, the world's most significant tourism exhibition. Representing our city is Andres Santamaria Garrido, the director of the Bogota Institute of Tourism (IDT), who received an award for the outstanding work in promoting accessible tourism in the Colombian capital. This accolade was presented during the first global tourism fair by the State Representative Platform for People with Physical Disabilities (PREDIF), Spain's leading organization in matters of equality.
This recognition was granted to Bogota under the principles of the Tour4All, acknowledging its efforts and progress in adapting infrastructure and services for people with disabilities.
