On May 29 and 30, 2021, Bogotá will host two BMX World Cup events. This was announced by the Colombian athlete and London 2012 Olympic medalist, Carlos Oquendo, on his Twitter account.
The two events to be held in Bogotá will be held at the Parque Recreodeportivo El Salitre cycross track and will be the last official competitions before the Tokyo Olympics.
This news was announced by the International Cycling Union on February 4.
